On 19 December 2018, just following the 24th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Katowice (Poland) ,  the Institute for European Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels organised a 2-hour policy forum on the COP’s implications for international and European climate policy.

The speakers consisted of academic and political experts and in order to allow a broader audience access to the event, it was filmed and now shared here.

Speakers:

  • Jacob Werksman, Principal Advisor, European Commission, DG Climate Action
  • Ulriikka Aarnio, Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe
  • Harro van Asselt, University of Eastern Finland
  • Claire Dupont, Ghent University (chair)
