Tue, 29 September,  11:00 – 12:00 BST

Three expert speakers will consider the UK and EU framing of notions of environmental progress, compare the practical steps taken by the UK government to demonstrate and embed progress – or indeed regression – in domestic law and international agreements; and consider how governments and civil society might best work to safeguard existing protections and further an agenda based on environmental progress.

This webinar will also mark the launch of ‘EU-UK trade relations: why environmental policy regression will undermine the level playing field and what the UK can do to limit it’ – a research report from Andrew Jordan, Viviane Gravey, Brendan Moore and Colin Reid (Brexit&Environment), commissioned by Friends of the Earth. Copies will be made available to attendees after the event.
