Turning to Algeria to replace Russian gas: A false solution

The policy brief discusses why shifting dependency on gas imports from one state to another is a risky and short-sighted approach where all involved lose out. “The transition to decarbonisation, and the avoidance of further use of energy as political weapon towards EU member states, requires focused, long-term planning, diplomacy and investment.”
